Our ophthalmologists, health professionals who guarantee your visual health

Klarity's ophthalmologists diagnose and treat vision disorders and diseases, such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. Their ocular expertise enables them to detect possible vision problems, assess eye coordination, visual capacity and ocular reflexes, and thus perform a complete check-up. In certain cases (myopia or cataracts, for example), they may also perform eye surgery.
At Klarity, our aim is to offer quality medicine at a sector 1 rate, and we have equipped all our centers with state-of-the-art, high-performance machines.

Our ophthalmologists will of course be able to carry out day-to-day care and provide medical prescriptions for glasses or contact lenses.

We recommend that you consult an ophthalmologist in the case of :

Cataracts,
Glaucoma,
Retinal detachment,
Disturbance of near or distance vision,
Impaired color vision,
Impaired night vision,
Impaired accommodation (the eye's ability to focus on objects at different distances),

Our orthoptists, specialists in refraction and eye rehabilitation

In our Klarity eye care centers, orthoptists work in close collaboration with ophthalmologists. Specialists in refraction and eye re-education, they intervene at the start of your treatment, taking the first measurements that will serve as the basis for the diagnosis made by the ophthalmologist. Their measurements enable them to detect patients with potentially complicated cases at an early stage, for faster, smoother and more efficient treatment at the center. If necessary, during your orthoptist consultation, a trial of corrective lenses will be undertaken to agree on the best possible visual acuity, both near and far, and will serve as the basis for the prescription of lenses issued by the ophthalmologist.

It is recommended to consult an orthoptist in the case of :

Strabismus,
Amblyopia,
Binocular vision disorders such as diplopia or double vision,
Frequent eye pain or headaches (cephalalgia),
Blurred vision,
Balance disorders,
Visual fatigue,
Eye coordination problems,
Difficulty adapting to glasses,
Watery eyes,
Tingling eyes,
Reading difficulties.

Our orthoptists can also help you prepare for eye surgery, offer rehabilitation exercises and provide advice on corrective lenses and contact lenses.
